Abstract
Poster abstract analyzing surgeon’s performance, workload, and ergonomics during a laparoscopic urethrovesical anastomosis in a porcine model, comparing a handheld robotic needle holder (DEX, Dextérité Surgical) with a conventional laparoscopic axial-handled needle holder. Six experienced surgeons performed the anastomosis with each instrument; surgical performance was assessed with the GOALS rating scale and a validated suturing checklist, posture was recorded with the Xsens MVN BIOMECH inertial system, and workload was assessed with the NASA-TLX. Re-presentation, at a general endoscopic-surgery venue, of the study first presented at SEIQ 2016 (Cáceres).
