Abstract
Oral presentation of the study published as “Motor Competence Profiles in Greek Primary School Children: A Cross-Sectional Multilevel Analysis of Skill-Specific and Contextual Variability” (see the linked journal article). Motor competence is a latent construct reflecting proficiency across distinct motor-skill domains, shaped by biological and environmental factors. This study examined the influence of sex and age on motor-competence profiles of 312 primary-school children (6–12 years, 156 girls) from 31 classes across 14 Greek schools, assessed with the Movement Assessment Battery for Children–Second Edition (MABC-2) across manual dexterity, aiming-catching, and balance domains.
